Our 5-week Puppy Kindergarten class is for ages 10 weeks – 6 months old. We will lay the groundwork for basic manners and socialization to get your pup started off right. They will learn sit, down, leave it, stay, drop it, wait, come, leash skills, place, and more!
We also go over common issues like potty training, crate training, and play biting. Our curriculum is set up with real life scenarios to set you and your dog up for success. Puppy class includes off leash play with other puppies too!
Proof of vaccinations is required- puppies must have at least two rounds of vaccinations from a veterinarian and a negative fecal.
This basic foundation class is for dogs 6 months and older and lasts 5-weeks. Dogs will learn their basic manners (sit, down, leave it, drop it, stay, wait, come, leash skills, place, etc. We also go over common issues like barking and jumping.
During this series, owners will learn how to effectively communicate with their pup. Our goal is to make training fun to keep your dog focused and learning.
We will challenge your dog with real-life scenarios like dropping food on the ground or having guests over. Learning these hands on skills will change the way you interact with your dog!

This 4-week class is for dogs 4 months and older and focuses on adding distance, distraction, and duration to your dog’s basic cues. The curriculum involves fun games that will help to proof your dog’s cues. When we take things to the next level, we increase our dog’s knowledge & our bond.
An understanding of basic cues or experience in our Basic Manners classes is recommended before moving up to this class. Please contact us if you have not attended classes with us in the past or would like to assess your dog for approval to register.
canine good citizen
Have you been working to achieve your dog’s Canine Good Citizen certification? Have goals of becoming a therapy team?
In this 4-week class, we will be practicing AKC CGC test items- reactions to other dogs, walking on a loose leash, accepting a friendly stranger, supervised separation, and more. At the end of this class, your dog will be evaluated for their CGC title.
The Canine Good Citizen Program teaches good manners to dogs & responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step CGC test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds.
Come have some fun with your pooch and learn some new tricks!
In this 4-week class we will be teaching classic tricks like roll over as well as more advanced tricks like say your prayers, bow, crawl, and play dead.
Trick training is a wonderful way to form a closer, more communicative bond with your dog! This class is for dogs four months and older who have a foundation of basic manners. We will build on their basics and teach them how to problem solve to achieve an understanding of cool tricks. At the end of class your dog can also be tested for a Novice Trick Dog Title!
This one-hour class is for puppies 10 weeks to 6 months of age and is great for new pet parents to get advice on potty training, nipping, chewing, and jumping.
Let your puppy explore new obstacles like a ball pit or agility tunnel. There will also be off leash play where your pup can make new friends (and so can you!)
During a puppy’s crucial socialization period, it is important to introduce your puppy to new people, dogs, textures, sounds, & environments. Our socials are designed to give your puppy an overall great experience learning about a variety of new things.
This one hour workshop is great for taking your dog’s skills on the road & is also a wonderful socialization opportunity. The location of the class is different each time depending on class goals.
Downtown Lafayette, River Ranch, Lake Martin, Acadiana Park Nature Trail, Lowes, and more! A ZenDog trainer will lead the class and help each student with their dog along the way.
zendog group walk - free
Our monthly ZenDog group walk will allow you and your pup a calm way to socialize and take in new experiences. This FREE event is a great way to spend quality time with your dog, meet new people, and work on your dog’s basic cues. Walks are held at different parks and locations each month.
