ZenDog was opened in 2016 with a mission to bring quality dog care services to the Acadiana area. All of our programs are designed to promote the health and well-being of your dog with convenient options for daily care and manners training. Training that makes your life easier!
We offer a structured Day School, Day Training programs, Private Training, Group Classes, and Board & Train. We will teach you the secrets of successful dog training and will create a unique training plan based on mutual understanding, communication, and respect. Our Certified Professional Dog Trainers can help you train your adult dog or new puppy, get a handle on behavior issues, and even guide you through the process of training your dog for more advanced behaviors. We work hard to ensure you get the best for your dog!

Ally is certified by the CCPDT and has spent thousands of hours training family dogs and shelter dogs. Her most important role is to provide you – the client – with professional, effective & humane training for your dog. Training that makes your life easier, by bringing harmony back into your life. After starting her dog training journey over 12 years ago, she has had the pleasure of working with countless families and has trained a staff that embodies the ZenDog mission of safe, quality training and care. She is grateful to be growing her team to continue to service all of the pups in Acadiana! Ally has four dogs at home – Louie, Jagger, Mack & Moo, a cat – Apollo, and does it all with her #1 fan – her daughter Sydney.

Originally from Houma, Amy previously lived in Texas where she worked at a dog daycare, boarding, and training facility as their main trainer. She is certified through the CCPDT and is always working on continuing education to bring her clients the most up to date positive training techniques. She now lives in Youngsville with her husband, three children, and three dogs.

Kristin started with ZenDog in 2022 and continues to build her knowledge of dog training and behavior as one of our trainers on staff. She has experience with working dogs and enjoys working with high drive dogs. Kristin’s style is geared towards the breed and what the dog needs to be successful. She is currently studying for her CPDT-KA exam and is always working to continue her education. She spends her days outside of work taking care of her farm, her four children, and her pup Kaiya!
